Building backends that stay calm in production — system design, APIs & microservices.

I'm Max — a backend-focused software engineer with 10+ years of experience building scalable services, APIs, and internal platforms. I work primarily with TypeScript / Node.js (NestJS) and PHP (Symfony).
I'm a big believer in engineering discipline: methodology, standards, and best practices. I enjoy clean code, consistent conventions, and systems that are easy to reason about — the kind you can operate calmly in production. Tea helps with that mindset: slow down, think clearly, then implement with precision.
My sweet spot is system design and backend architecture, microservices, API design (REST/gRPC), and integrations. I focus on reliability, performance, observability, and predictable delivery — from design through rollout and support.
The work I do best, across every system I touch.
Clean boundaries, clear conventions, and systems that are easy to reason about long after launch.
REST / gRPC contracts, service orchestration and clean integrations with external systems.
Splitting big problems into reliable services that scale and stay up under real production load.
Aside from coding, I have a real passion for tea. A good cup brings clarity to even the toughest problems — a warm brew or a crisp iced glass keeps me focused and inspired.
"Tea is my ritual for focus — a small pause before the next clean decision."
In my free time I explore new languages and keep up with where tech is heading. Continuous learning — and shipping your own projects — is how I grow and push my limits.
A few personal projects are in the works. Stay tuned!
